Barbara, an outstandingly talented needlewoman

Created by Sheila 2 years ago

As we have spent many years overseas, we didn't get to know George and Barbara as much as we would have liked but, on visits home we were always so impressed by some of Barbara's amazing needlework. In particular, we always admired the beautiful picture she made of Bracken, Mark and Caroline's first red setter, and how very life-like it was! Barbara made us a very special gift for our 40th wedding anniversary:a beautifully embroidered Purdom family tree. We have always treasured it and will continue to do so in the years ahead. Thank you, Barbara, for this and also for the gift of your lovely daughter who has been a wonderful daughter-in-law to us and has given us our treasured granddaughter, Sarah.
